• DB Links from Content Areas: Links to DB forums from content areas will take users to DB forums in other courses.
  • Workaround: Remove all links from content areas and instruct students to enter DB forum from Communication area.
• Firefox: The newest version of Firefox (not a support version) is not allowing files to be upload in a few areas of Bb, the assignment area is the most prevalent. This is not an issue on a Mac.
  • Workaround: Use Internet Explorer.

• Special Characters in Naming: Special Characters being used in Bb naming conventions continue to be a problem. The latest manifestation doesn’t allow instructors to collect all student assignment using the Item Download function if there is a special character in the Assignment name.

  Example: Assignment #1 won’t work but Assignment 1 will work. 

  It has long been and continues to be our recommendation to use the characters in black when naming in Bb and do not use the characters in red:

  Only use: A-Z, a-z, 1-9, hyphen - , and/or underscore_
